The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Festival is this weekend and it’s going to be epic!
The 2017 Virgin Kitesurfing Armada Festival is this weekend and it’s going to be the best Kitesurfing Armada Festival yet! Ticket booking closes soon but you can still get score a spot and here’s what’s going to be happening over the weekend.
Nick and Gisela are on board
Following Richard Branson’s message last week, this week Nick Jacobsen and Gisela Pulido say hello! They will both be at the Festival – watch Nick here and Gisela here!
Camping and campervan passes and parking!
This is the chance to buy your camping and camper van passes. There’s limited space so if you haven’t got yours yet and want to camp or bring the van then get booked in.
If you are planning to stay overnight please do make sure you book your passes in advance – camping and campervan passes will not be available on site. Please note, your kitesurfing pass does not include camping and your camping pass does not include kitesurfing! They are separate!
When you arrive just give security on the gate your name (no need to print off anything) and they will give you a pass that must be filled out and displayed at all times. Security will also give you instructions on where to park your vehicle/ set up your tent. If you would like to double check you have booked a pass please search your inbox for the confirmation email from Race Nation. In order to keep everyone safe, the Kitesurfing Armada team ask everyone who will be staying in a tent or campervan to read the Fire Safety leaflet
If you require day parking this must be purchased at the council Pay & Display machines on the day. To see the map of all parking and camping zones – click here!

Kitesurfing at the Festival!
A kitesurfing pass costs £40 for access into everything the festival has to offer on the water – which this year includes big air with Lewis, foiling clinics with Lee ‘Pasty’ Harvey, Boardercross with Olly and our friends from Lancing Kite Club, the Guinness World Record attempt (if enough people are there), Kite SUP Run Charity Challenge and of course recreational kitesurfing in one of the best spots in the UK all weekend. Your event rashie gets thrown in and there are safety boats provided all weekend.

The final stop of the first ever Youth Kite and SUP Tour took place at Goring and Hove Lagoon recently. It has been a fantastic experience and hundreds of kids have got involved for the first time. Congratulations to Will Kay, the Tour Manager, and all the kite and SUP schools involved on such an amazing job.
You can help raise money for the Kite and SUP Youth Tour 2018 by taking part in the Kite SUP run challenge.
