MIKE GETS SERIOUSLY HIGH

 

The Cape Town kitesurfing season has started with a bang: Weekend. 45 knots. An empty Blouberg. Only a few kiters with nerves of steel went out to send it and Michael Mac Donald, better known as Gethighwithmike, was one of them.

 

 

Boom! Mike crushed his personal and the world record with a smashing 33.9m, using a 7m Core XR6 (find our 9m review here). His record is 1.9m higher than the previous king of WOO, Maarten Haeger, which has propelled him to the top spot on the WOO international leaderboard.
