7-Nation names Colin Jacobs new COO

Colin steps up to Chief Operating Officer role

7-Nation is pleased to announce the promotion of Colin Jacobs to the company’s newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO Jacobs, who served as 7-Nation’s Director of International Sales and Marketing for the last five years and Supply Chain Manager for three, will be responsible for the daily operations of 7-Nation brands Slingshot Sports, Ride Engine and Moonshine MFG.
Adding a COO position is a strategic move that will allow 7-Nation to maintain operational excellence as the company pursues strong global growth goals across five watersports categories.
“7-Nation has a customer-centric culture and Colin embodies these values,” said Jeff Logosz, 7-Nation CEO. “Colin has global experience in brand building, including driving growth and efficiency. This move demonstrates our commitment to bringing the right products and support to our customers, our partners and our employees. I’m highly confident in Colin’s ability to lead the 7-Nation brands.”
Like most of the 7-Nation team, Jacobs is an avid outdoorsman who doesn’t just promote 7-Nation products- he uses them enthusiastically.
“We have a world class team here at 7-Nation,” Jacobs said. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to leverage our strengths and deliver not only innovative best-in-class products, but also closer connections and long-term value to our customers.”
One of Jacobs’ first tasks will be to find a suitable replacement, preferably located in Europe, for the increasingly-important role of International Sales and Marketing.
