RRD rework the Global Bar for 2018
For this latest edition of the Global Bar the design team at RRD have kept things simple with a handful of redesigned components for reliable, high-end performance across all disciplines.
Simplicity is the mission – “you cannot break what does not exist”.
The bar has some key new features this year.
- A rotating chicken loop that allows you to easily untwist your front lines.
- A simplified safety system flags the kite on the front line for 100% depower should you need it.
- The harness comes with a standard short leash (approximately 50cm or 20”) to attach on to the front of your harness and there’s an optional thicker, longer leash specifically for the handlepassers among us.
Also, back for 2018, is the double chamber adjustable de-power rope made out of high quality, durable polyurethane, a CNC milled anodised aluminium central bar component that won’t wear down your depower rope, the bar diameter feels perfect in your hands and the high memory EVA material provides a reliable and comfortable grip at the bar.
