NORTH SENSE 135 & SONAR 850 FOIL REVIEW
“This North set-up combines the smooth speed characteristics of a smaller wing for winder conditions, with the steady stability of the new 1000 freeride wings, combining speed and manoeuvrability with stability.”
SUMMARY:
Overall this is an excellent set-up for lighter to mid-weight riders looking for their first set-up to work across a broad range of conditions. This foil really responds well to a decent bit of kite power, which feels like a much more familiar style if you’re transitioning from a twin-tip.
It’s loads of fun for carves and tacks too as you can steam into them at full speed and the arc is very smooth. The Sense board is so forgiving on touchdowns so you can really feel your way around manoeuvres with a lot of success, eventually working up to completing them without touching down.
