THE LURE: The Northwest of Ireland is one of the best areas in Europe for watersports. Long known for the amazing surf breaks, the region has also become a hotspot for Kitesurfing. The region hosts an incredible variety of large, sandy beaches that are next to deserted all year around.
THE KITTING: Riders in the area have a choice of riding waves or flat water, and can ride in all wind directions. The main beaches are all situated within 30mins drive of Sligo town, and because of the large choice of spots things never get too busy.

WIND & WEATHER: The weather in Ireland is famous for being unpredictable, and you are guaranteed to have a bit of everything during your stay. Sligo is on the Atlantic coast and this gives great wind and swell conditions. Luckily we have a beach suitable for any wind direction.
WATER: The water temperature averages 8°C in winter against 14°C in summer.
OFF THE WATER: Sligo is a great adventure holiday destination with a great mix of activities available. Surfing, hiking, biking and horse riding are all world class here. Sligo also offers a lot of historical interest, with some of the oldest prehistoric tombs in Europe and strong ties to W.B. Yeats. The town has a lively restaurant and nightlife scene.
