The Red Arrows kicked off the first day of the White Air festival and it was all action from there. Unfortunately the wind didn't play ball, but the sun shone, the crowds came and the assembled cast of kiteboarding's finest put on a good show on the Kiteworld slider by hitting it being pulled behind a jet-ski, illustrating the immense cross-over that lies between the board skills of kitesurfing and wakeboarding. If you don't know what White Air is all about or do and are in the area come down! There's so much to see and do, and the event really is geared up to getting you having a go at the sport you've always wanted to do. Click here to go to the office White Air website to see what's on offer. There's also a stack of bands lined up still to play today and tomorrow and the music continues into the early hours. Click here to watch the excellent build-up video made up KW friends, Fat Sand, featuring Tom Court and Chris Burke who built the Kiteworld slider.
