The first Vari-influenced RRD kit is now landing in kiting shops. The new Type Six is a five strut, slightly lower aspect shape kite than the Z-Types - no doubt in keeping with Vari’s desire for a kite to accompany him comfortably through the new generation of manoeuvres. The kite’s further enhanced by thinner struts, and the zip theme has been extended onto the Type Six for wind range - there’s only one on the central strut this time, but it has more adjustment range than the multiple zips on the Z-Type. Hooked or unhooked, the Type Six has got super smooth turning and power.
