PKRA Argentina kick-off

Kitesurf World Cup Bariloche Argentina 2010

PKRA press release:

Registration commenced yesterday under beautiful spring-like weather conditions in the prestigious and cozy town of Bariloche, Argentina. Rumours of extremely cold weather conditions scattered amongst a few competitors whom arrived a couple days prior to the set registration date, however sunny blue skies and a temperature of approximately 20°C embraced the large number of competitors in line for registration.

Native Argentinians, such as the legendary Martin Vari lined up alongside riders of many different nationalities, such as Australia, Brazil, Spain, France, Germany, Columbia, Uruguay, USA, Austria, Norway, Holland, New Caledonia and Poland after arriving in Bariloche for the eighth tour stop of the PKRA World Cup 2010.

The wind and weather forecast for the upcoming days looks very promising, and all competitors are eager to get out on the water to experience the conditions of the famous picturesque Bariloche Lake.

Today's mandatory skippers meeting is scheduled for 10:00am with a first possible start of 11:30am for racing and 2:00pm for freestyle.
