Oxbow Kite Open Race II
The Oxbow Kite Open Race II will be held at the RBSC beach in Duinbergen on the 27th and 28th June 2009. Long distance and Slalom races will be pushing each rider to their limits and providing a grand spectacle for the crowds. A whopping 750‚?? worth of prize money will be on offer to keep the momentum high - 500‚?? to the Men's winner and 250‚?? to the Women's winner.
Oxbow will also be showing off their first ever Oxbrow Kite Festival in Belgium over these two days allowing the puiblic a great opportunity to discover the technical innovations 2009 and 2010 have to offer for various kites. Cabrinha, Flysurfer, Flyboard, Bestkiteboarding, Ozone, Nobile, JN, North, Liquid Force, Peter Lynn, Takoon and Waiman Hawa will be among the masses running the show.
The real icing on the cake will be the appearences of Franz Olry, Nicollo Porcella, Steve Verelst and Ronald Verhaegen as they mingle with the crowds and share their wealth of knowledge to all who wish to learn. Olry will proudly be presenting the 2010 Waiman Kites, Porcella and Verelst will be going through the freestyle side of things and Verhaegan will also be giving some demonstrations. How nice of them! And to top it all of the Peter Lynn Team will be on hand at the beach with their FREE¬ power kite clinic.
Throw in some paddlesurfing, blokarting, kitewinging and plenty of smiles and The Oxbrow Kite Open Race II looks set to be a weekend to remember.
If you're interested in completing in either the long distance race or slalom races you'll need to register as soon as possible to email@example.com. You'll also be able to register on Friday 26th from between 4:00pm and 8:00pm and bright and early on the Saturday morning between 8:30am and 9:45am. The entry fee is 30‚?? and will also provide you with a lovely Oxbrow T-shirt and a tasty free BBQ on the Saturday night. Yummy!
