O`Neill Kite Cup 2008
Kitesurfing Open Cup of Russia
May 26 - 30, Egypt, Hurghada
O`NEILL KITE CUP 2008
Hurghada has been a Mecca for Russian kiters for years. From beginners to those honing their skills many are drawn by the great wind and water conditions that you find in Hurghada - and let's face it the weather can get pretty cold in Russia so the sunny Egyptian conditions must be attractive!
With this in mind it's no coincidence that the Colona Watersports centre in Hurghada is home to the 2008 O'Neill Russian Open. From May 26 through 30 some of the best Russian riders including Petr Tiushkevich, who was ranked third in the French lap of PKRA in 2008 and Evgeny Novosheev and Sergey Belmesov, who have both started competing in PKRA this year and have rated in the top 15 in the Venezuela lap of PKRA; will be throwing their hats into the ring.
Excitement is guaranteed as riders go head to head to see who will be the last man standing and lift the Cup.
We hope to have more from the event for you here on www.kiteworldmag.com after the event...
