Only a couple of months away and the Luderitz Speed Challenge will host the world best Speed Sailors, kitesurfers and windsurfers, all in a bid to see who is the best of the best when it comes to leaving the opposition eating dust (or water technically).

To improve our performances this year, a channel 700 m long, 10 m wide and 1m deep will be dug in the 'Second Lagoon', one of the fastest kiteboarding spots in the world!

Last year L’Hydroptère secured the present world record of travelling 51.36 knots! Can it be toppled this year? We'll soon find out.
