Ocean Rodeo, a leading provider of kiteboarding equipment with international distribution and recognition is now hiring for the roll of European Sales Manager to oversee our expanding European operations. Hired on a contractual basis the candidate must have their own office space and access to a phone and internet connection. Perfect written English is a must; any other language skills are an advantage. Minimum 3 years related work experience, preferably within the European kiteboarding marketplace and a passion for kiteboarding.Primary responsibilities:
Maintain and build customer relationships
Service, Sales and Customer Support
Open new market prospects to drive new sales
Representation of brand at industry events and demo tours
Oversee, manage and hire individual European country commissioned sales reps
Contribute directly to European marketing plan, team rider sponsorships and industry event participation
Oversee, manage and select Tech Team riders for local beach representation
The successful applicant must be able to work effectively across functions, balance workloads and operate with minimal direction or oversight (self-starter). Intimate knowledge and understanding of the European kiteboarding marketplace is vital. Ability to work creatively and effectively with limited resources. Candidate must be willing to travel and to work a flexible, highly rigorous schedule. Competitive compensation offered commensurate with applicants work background and industry experience.
