Brunotti (Issue #14 - Mar /Apr '05)

Brunotti
Five new boards are out from European boardmeisters Brunotti. The new Master 152 is an intermediate/light wind board with a unique scoop-rocker line and sharp rails, giving extra control in hard and gusty wind conditions. This thin board is equipped with 6 cm G-10 fins that glide straight through the water making up wind riding easy. The Horizon is a new series (in 124, 130 and 136 sizes) of boards with high density PVC foam cores with multiple layers of unidirectional glass reinforcement incorporating an ashwood laminate top and bottom to ensure impact resistance and high strength with flex. Rails consist of semi-rigid, shock absorbing, polyurethane rubber. This puppy’s built to resist: it’s taken up to 10 tonnes of pressure in tests. Brunotti’s Reflex is built to the same spec but features a snake-skin graphic - looks like Brunotti’s Dutch art department were enjoying another late one when they came up with this! Brunotti also have a new range for wave riding: a dedicated kite wave board, and entry-level surfboards constructed with an EPS and glassfibre core.
