Annual Battle for the Bay 2009

Annual Battle for the BayA few months or weeks ago we contacted you for support in our annual Battle for the Bay.
Over time, the project got bigger and bigger and all of you have been really very supportive.
I will keep this short as I feel we spent a lot of the weekend making speeches but in short, we really did bring Miami beach to Dublin.
The beach was full of sun, riders, the public, stands, kites, so much colour, and most importantly, full of smiles.
It was PureMagic and the whole team, once more, we would like to thank everyone who helped to make it happen.
This weekend was by far the biggest kite and wind festival ever held in Ireland and it gives a lot of motivation to keep it growing for next
year. It really is only the start

Although we only had enough wind to run 3 races, the atmosphere was so special on Dollymount, no one complained about the lack of action on the water.
We hope if you were there you enjoyed the show and particularly enjoyed the fact that you helped to make it happen.
We hope the show will have had some benefits for your business (and for some of you, your business is our business.
We strongly believe that the impact could not have been better, so lucky were we with the conditions that we had.
